Company Profile:
CMS provides superior service
throughout Michigan. CMS has trained experts in every field of computing technology
including hardware, software, networks, consulting, training, repairs, and upgrades.
Your Needs:
When it comes to your information management system, you need a company you can
rely on to give you what you need. At CMS, that means studying your requirements
closely, before we even begin to make recommendations. We want to see what you need
in a system, how you'll use it, how fast you're growing and what your budget is.
The result is a system that fits your needs precisely; both now and in the future.
You'll find us ready and willing to help you move into the next century with an
information management system that keeps you ahead of the competition. Our People:
Our technicians are highly trained in all network environments including Microsoft
Windows Server 2003, XP, 2000, NT, 95, 98, and Millennium, Novell Netware, Unix,
AppleShare, and Internet. We have hardware expertise in PC, AS/400, Unix, and Macintosh
platforms. Our customer service department provides on site service and toll free
technical support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our Computers:
Every CMS computer is custom-built to your own specifications. We use modular parts
that are easy to upgrade at our in-house facility. This method allows you to operate
with the latest technology as it emerges by simply replacing a component or two
rather than the entire system. In addition, this process allows us to keep our prices
at factory direct levels.
Our Network:
CMSInter.Net utilizes high-speed OC-3, DS-3 (T3), and DS-1 (T1) lines to connect
our POP's (points of presence) back to our NOC (network operations centers) in Mt.
Pleasant, Southfield, and Alma, MI. We monitor all of our lines and equipment 24/7
with our automated network monitoring system that will dispatch multiple technicians
within minutes of any equipment or line failure. We have multiple high-speed connections
from our network out to three different tier-1 backbone providers: Level 3, Cogent,
and Internap. This allows us to load balance between three backbones and provide
fully redundant access in the case of a backbone outage. In addition we have DS-3
connections into the Verizon Frame Relay and ATM networks for additional connectivity.
