Enhanced 911 Service
CMS strives to provide reliable means of communication in the event of an emergency. When you sign up for CMS Phone Service, we will require that you fill out a form that will allow us to indicate the street address and city that where you will be using your CMS phone service, so that if you ever do need to dial 911 from that phone, responders will have your exact location with out you having to give it to them.
Call Waiting
No more missed calls or important messages. If you are on a call, and another comes in, a subtle alert will let you know.
Three-way Calling
You don’t have to make several separate calls to make your plans – just use the three way calling feature to talk to two people in two different places. This feature also comes in handy for small conference calls for those running small or home based businesses.
Call Forwarding on Busy
This feature allows you to always forward incoming calls to a different number of your choice if you phone is currently busy.
Call Forwarding on No Answer
If you choose not to set up voicemail on your account, you can forward your incoming calls to a different phone number anytime your line goes unanswered.
Call Forwarding Always
Going on vacation? You can still take your calls while you are away. Its easy to forward your phone service to the number of your choice for any length of time. Simply deactivate the forward upon returning home with a simple code you dial into the phone.
Call Forwarding on Loss of Connection
Should your phone service loose its connection at any time, you wont have to miss any calls. CMS can set your service to automatically forward to the number of your choice if an interruption of service occurs. Our service will be alerted by your equipment at the time of the outage an automatically forward your calls until service is restored.
Call Hold
This feature allows you to simply put a caller on hold, if you need to answer another call, or for any reason at all.
Call Return / Last Number Trace
With CMS phone service, you don’t need to worry about missing a call, *69 allows you to see the number, date and time of the last call made to your phone. You decide if you want to return the call or not. Call return is guaranteed at no additional cost.
Last Number Redial
This feature allows you to redial the last call you made from your phone by simply dialing *66.
Call ID with Name
See the number and name of who is calling before you answer. Sometimes there are calls you just don’t want to take, with caller ID with name, you know ahead of time who is on the other end.
Do Not Disturb (DND)
Sometimes you just need some peace and quiet! If you need to be left alone during a family dinner, or just want to relax – simply turn the “do not disturb” feature on, and all incoming calls will be directed to your voicemail. If you do not have voicemail set up, it will send callers to a message that states your are unavailable.
Voicemail
With CMS Phone Service, you can check your voicemail any time, from anywhere. You even get email alerts of your voicemail, with an attached .wav file of the message so you can listen to it from your PC.
