Our Network :
-
INTERNET BACKBONE
CMS Internet utilizes high-speed Gigabit, OC-12, OC-3, and DS-3 (T3) circuits to our upstream tier-1 and tier-2 backbone providers. Our multiple upstream routing paths allow for a continuous and uninterrupted transport of your data, even during a major backbone outage.
-
INTERNAL BACKBONE
CMS Internet utilizes high-speed Gigabit, OC-3, DS-3 (T3) and carrier grade wireless transport, from our remote points of presence back to our network operations center in Mount Pleasant, MI.
-
DATA CENTER
The CMS data center has been designed to eliminate single points of failure and can even sustain multiple failures without effecting services. CMS has fully redundant hardware at all levels including battery as well as generator backup power systems. The CMS data center has been designed to maintain itself during power and equipment failures ensuring connections will be uninterrupted.
-
NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER
All connections and equipment are monitored 24/7 with our network monitoring systems that alert and dispatch technicians within minutes of any equipment or line failure. The systems also track traffic patterns and other vital statistics that help detect problems before they occur.
Our high capacity infrastructure coupled with our fault tolerant self-healing network architecture provides the security, and reliability that a service provider must have to maintain critical voice and data connections which are relied upon every day.
